Humiliation cures the proud and replaces any excess with humility.
If we don’t humble ourselves, God will give us a bigger lesson of humbleness by allowing some type of hardship to happen to us.
So, do not rejoice when your brother is going through a trial that aims to humiliate him for the cure of his soul, with an illness or a difficulty. It is like boasting that you are out of the hospital while your neighbor is still being treated. We should thank God that we are well, but not to be proud of the blessing we have, which is a gift and grace of God. Because if we are proud, the very next day our Heavenly Father can choose a trial for our own spiritual salvation, just as for our brother.
